Looking for the Best Executive Coach in the World?

The best executive coach is someone that understands and listens to your reality

The Luxury of Being Heard

You don’t need fixing. You need somewhere you can let everything go.

You make decisions. You manage people. You solve problems. You deal with expectations, responsibilities and situations that other people may never know about.

And sometimes, you’ve simply had enough.

Not because you can’t handle your responsibilities. But because you’re human.

Perhaps you’re frustrated with your business, your employees, your relationships or something happening in your personal life.

Perhaps you’re facing a difficult decision. Or perhaps you’d simply enjoy having a conversation with someone who isn’t expecting anything from you.

Welcome to the Firm Ground® Executive Clarity Experience.

A private, luxurious opportunity to talk, offload, explore different perspectives and enjoy being looked after.

No performance. No expectations. No pressure to change anything.

Just time dedicated entirely to you.

Improving Your Performance Starts With Understanding Yourself

The best executive coach for you is someone who understands you and listens to your reality.

Improving your performance doesn't necessarily mean changing who you are.

It begins with understanding yourself, recognising your strengths and identifying what exceptional leadership means to you.

When you're constantly trying to meet somebody else's definition of greatness, it's easy to lose confidence in your own abilities.

At Firm Ground®, I don't believe in moulding people into textbook versions of exceptional leaders.

I help you reconnect with the best version of yourself, so you can develop the confidence to lead, make decisions and perform in a way that's authentic to you.

Because the goal isn't to become somebody else's version of great.

It's to become the greatest version of you.

You Spend Your Life Being Professional. Here, You Don't Have To Be.

Vent. Swear. Cry. Express your anger. Let your frustrations out.

You know those moments at work when somebody says or does something and all you want to do is tell them to fuck off?

But you can't.

Because you're the manager. The director. The business owner. The person who's supposed to remain calm, composed and professional.

So you swallow it. You smile. You respond appropriately. And you carry on.

But where does all that frustration go?

Here, you don't have to pretend.

You can tell me exactly what you think. You can swear. You can cry. You can raise your voice. You can have a bloody good moan about absolutely anything you want.

I'm not easily offended, and I'm not scared of loud voices.

You can even tell me to fuck off if you want to.

You won't get a lecture about your language. You won't be expected to dress your feelings up in polite, socially acceptable language.

You can express your frustrations honestly, without worrying about maintaining your professional image.

All I ask is that we keep the experience physically safe and respectful.

Sometimes you don't need someone to tell you to calm down.

Sometimes you just need somewhere you can stop holding everything in.

You Don't Need Another Person Telling You What You Should Be Doing

Executive coaching often focuses on what you could be doing differently. How you should lead. How you should communicate. How you should manage difficult situations. How you should become a better version of yourself.

Sometimes this can create bigger problems because you start burning your brain out with all the things someone has told you that you should be doing differently, and you start questioning yourself even more.

Put down the generic 7 Points of a Great Leader and 12 Signs You're This.

In fact, throw them out of the window or burn them.

I don't do textbooks. I do you.

Take Off the Professional Persona

The carefully chosen words. The constant diplomacy. The P's and Q's. The stiff upper lip. The arse-kissing.

Having to talk like you've swallowed a bloody dictionary just to sound intelligent and professional.

The endless expectation to remain composed, agreeable and professional, even when every part of you wants to tell somebody exactly what you think.

How exhausting is it having to be the acceptable version of yourself all the bloody time?

I'm not concerned about whether you're behaving like the textbook version of an exceptional leader.

I don't try to mould you into one, and to be perfectly honest, I don't want you moulding yourself into one either.

Because I find all that stuff a load of bollocks.

When you spend your life trying to become somebody else's version of greatness, you risk losing yourself in the process.

Your time. Your life. Your freedom. And for some, even your happiness.

I'm here to help you reconnect with the best version of you.

The part of you that doesn't need a textbook to tell you what exceptional leadership looks like.

The part of you that trusts your own judgement, embraces your individuality and feels comfortable being exactly who you are.

Because when you know you're your own idea of an exceptional leader, that can be enough.

Sometimes the Best Executive Coaches Don't Need to Tell You What to Do or How to Do It.

They Simply Give You Space to Feel Free.

You don't always need another strategy. Another action plan. Another list of things to improve.

Sometimes you need a conversation that allows you to see things differently. A question you hadn't considered. A perspective you hadn't explored. Or simply the satisfaction of finally saying something you've been holding back.

We might talk about your business. Your family. Your relationships. Your responsibilities. Your frustrations. Or something completely unrelated to any of them.

You decide what you want to bring into the conversation.

You can explore another perspective without being told yours is wrong. You can question a decision without questioning your entire worth. And you can speak openly without being made to feel that you need to change who you are.

There is no predetermined destination.

Sometimes, when the pressure of having to be professional disappears, clarity has room to emerge.

An Experience That Goes Beyond Conversation

Because being looked after shouldn't be another responsibility.

Your Executive Clarity Experience takes place in a private spa in Dinnington, away from the demands of everyday life.

There's no desk separating us. No formal interview. No expectation that you must arrive with a particular problem.

Our time together is yours.

Talk, vent, reflect, laugh, cry or simply enjoy an intelligent conversation without the usual expectations.

Bring Your Trunks or Your Cozzy!

Because this isn't an ordinary executive coaching appointment.

As part of your experience, you'll have access to private spa facilities, including a jacuzzi, sauna and additional relaxation amenities.

Enjoy the warmth, the water and the surroundings. Take your time. Allow yourself the pleasure of having nothing demanding your attention.

And if you'd feel more comfortable having company while enjoying the spa, I'm happy to join you.

I'll pack my cozzy, just in case!

The Luxury of Letting Go

Your experience concludes with a 45-minute professional massage, delivered by a separate qualified therapist.

An opportunity to enjoy physical relaxation without having to make decisions, solve problems or look after anybody else.

You can choose a therapeutic-style massage, deep tissue or sports massage according to your preferences.

You don't need to continue talking. You don't need to explain anything. You can simply enjoy being looked after.

For once, nobody needs anything from you.

Someone Who Understands More Than Business

I've spent years working in professional environments where responsibility, expectations and difficult decisions are part of everyday life.

I've worked in management, managed banking branches, worked in sales and built my own businesses.

But my understanding of pressure doesn't end with my professional experience.

I've also navigated the demands of raising children as a single parent while managing the responsibilities of work, business and everyday life.

I understand that life doesn't divide itself neatly into professional and personal challenges.

What happens at work can affect how you feel at home. What's happening in your personal life can influence how you approach your professional responsibilities. And sometimes you're dealing with both at once.

Through developing the Firm Ground® methodology, I've spent years exploring how pressure influences our thoughts, behaviours and decisions.

That knowledge informs the way I listen, question and offer perspective.

But this experience doesn't require you to participate in a structured transformation programme or commit to changing your life.

I'm here to understand you, not tell you who you should become.

What Makes the Best Executive Coaches in the World?

A coach who understands that improving your performance starts with understanding yourself.

Not moulding you into somebody else's idea of an exceptional leader, but helping you recognise your own strengths, define what exceptional leadership means to you and develop the confidence to lead as yourself.

Because the goal isn't to become somebody else's version of great.

It's to become the greatest version of you.

Textbook executive coaches that say do this, do that, follow this graph, follow this coaching programme are ten a penny. But how is a structured programme supposed to fit different folks with different strokes? It doesn't, and trying to be that guy in the book just adds extra pressure that you don't need.

If you're looking for a distinct executive coaching experience where you can put aside your professional identity, speak freely and explore whatever is on your mind, Firm Ground® offers something different.

You don't have to arrive as the successful executive.

You can simply arrive as yourself.

Your Time. Your Conversation. Your Experience.

You don't need to arrive with a problem. You don't need to leave with a solution. You don't need to justify your feelings.

And you certainly don't need to spend the entire experience being polite and professional.

Come as you are. Say what you need to say. Explore what you want to explore. Enjoy being looked after.

Sometimes the greatest luxury is simply having the freedom to be yourself.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where does the Executive Clarity Experience take place?

Your experience takes place in a private spa in Sheffield, offering a comfortable and discreet setting where you can relax, speak freely and enjoy time dedicated entirely to you.

How long is the session?

The Executive Clarity Experience lasts 2.5 hours, including our conversation, access to the spa facilities and your 45-minute massage treatment.

Can I choose the type of massage I receive?

Absolutely. A therapeutic-style massage is recommended to complement the experience and encourage relaxation. However, you're welcome to choose a deep tissue or sports massage if you prefer.

What should I wear?

Whatever you feel comfortable arriving in! Just pack your swimming trunks or cozzy for the spa facilities. Robes are provided.

Will you join me in the spa?

Yes, absolutely. If you'd feel more comfortable having me join you, I'm happy to do so.

I'll pack my cozzy, just in case!

Equally, if you'd prefer to enjoy the spa facilities privately, that's perfectly fine too. This is your experience.

Will you personally perform the massage?

No. Your massage will be provided by a separate qualified massage therapist, allowing you to enjoy your treatment while I take care of the conversational element of your experience. The massage therapist will not be in the room and our conversation will be confidential. What is said in the room, stays in the room.

Do I need to bring anything?

Nothing complicated! Just yourself, your swimming stuff and a smile.

And if you don't feel like smiling when you arrive, that's perfectly fine too.

You can leave the professional persona at the door.
